The JP Student Council is holding their annual coin drive for the next two weeks. There will be jugs set up for each grade level by the main office. This year, a portion of the funds will go to disaster relief in Japan

coin drive

Each grade gets a point for each penny in their jug and a negative point for each "silver" coin in their jug. A third grader putting 5 pennies in the third grade jug and a dime in the fourth grade jug would score five points for the third graders and negative ten points for the fourth graders. The grade with the most points will win a special lunch treat. Time to clean under the couch cushions and the back of the minivan and turn in some coins!
