PICK UP & DROP OFF SAFETY TIPS
Throughout the school year please follow these guidelines during drop off and pick up:

Drop off:

• Heaviest drop off time is 8:35 - 8:45, consider coming a few minutes earlier. But not before 8:20, please.
• Bus Parking is along Jackson Avenue. Do not park or drop off kids from the corner of the circle to the cross walk.
• When dropping off your student, please do not wait for them to get into the building. Staff is present to ensure every student makes into the building. If you wish to make sure they make into the building, please park along one of the roads leading to the school, not in the circle.
• Do not drop off your student over the crosswalk. If you drop off your student at the stop sign, please be sure they are ready to get out with a quick goodbye. Remember there are other folks behind you in line.
• Do not drop off in the center of the circle where your student would have to cross traffic. Drop off is only at the right side curb and should be brief in order to allow more parents to drop off.
• Do not double-park in the circle. This is unsafe for the students and makes it slower for vehicles to move away from the curb.

Pick Up:

• There is no parking along southbound Jackson Avenue where the barrels are placed on either side. There are four buses to pick up students and they will block the road if cars are in the way.
• There is ample parking in the school lot if you are walking up to the school to pick up your child.
• If you are waiting in a car, park along the curb allowing cars to travel safely around the circle and streets.
• Do not double-park around the circle or any roads leading up to the school.
• During drop off and pick up, please remember the speed limit is 20 mph but slower is preferred.
• There is no parking in the center circle at any time.

Walking
Biking
Carpooling
Parking in the back lot and walking up to the school.
